Hero for a Day!

Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance is calling all Super Heroes to come to their aid and win the chance to fly!!

This year, National Air Ambulance week is taking place between 24th and 30th September and the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust is calling on all local businesses, schools, colleges and communities to dress up as their own “Super Hero just for a day” and help keep our Super Hero, Air Ambulance BOB, in the air!

Now is your chance to be Superman, Spiderman, Batman and Robin, a Soldier or even one of our Super Hero Paramedics and help to raise much needed funds for this vital life -saving Air Ambulance Service and win the chance to fly in a leisure helicopter.

Yusuf Firat, CEO of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust, said “We are joining together with other local Air Ambulances across the country asking everybody to get involved during National Air Ambulance Week to help raise money for their local Air Ambulance.

“Be a Hero Just for a Day “gives everyone the opportunity to dress up, have fun and help support us. We fly on average 3 times a day, and for each mission BOB flies we must raise approximately £2,000 so every £1 donated during this week will help towards keeping BOB in the air.”

To enter, all we ask is that you take a photo of yourself as your Super Hero then set up either a just giving page so your family, friends and colleagues can sponsor you or you can send your donations and photo to us at TVACAA FREEPOST.

The competition closes on Wednesday 3rd October so hurry up and get out your tights and capes for the chance for you and a friend to really fly…Your Air Ambulance needs You!
